Arbitration and Fact-Finding Services
Honest people can have honest agreements.
When it comes to labor-management relations, voluntary arbitration and fact-finding remain trusted, time-tested tools for resolving disputes—and TransformationWrx™ is here to deliver these services with clarity, fairness, and efficiency.
Our in-house team of mediator-arbitrators are seasoned professionals with deep experience in labor relations and fact-finding. Each adheres to the Code of Professional Responsibility for Arbitrators of Labor-Management Disputes, upholding the highest standards of impartiality, integrity, and ethics. The majority of our fact-finders are also credentialed attorneys.
Mediation-Arbitration (Med-Arb)
This hybrid approach streamlines dispute resolution, saving time and reducing costs. With the mutual agreement of the parties, we schedule a half-day grievance mediation session. Briefs may be submitted in advance, and the neutral works with both sides to reach a voluntary, binding agreement.
If no agreement is reached during the session, the neutral—having already reviewed the facts and arguments—issues an abbreviated written decision at its conclusion. Because the process and terms are agreed to in advance, the decision is final and binding, providing swift, reliable closure.
Traditional Arbitration
For parties seeking a definitive resolution to a grievance or contract dispute, traditional arbitration remains the gold standard. This process provides each side with the opportunity to present evidence and arguments in a formal hearing before a neutral arbitrator.
Upon conclusion of the hearing and after reviewing the record, the arbitrator issues a written decision and award. That decision is final and binding under the terms of the parties’ collective bargaining agreement.
Our arbitrators are experienced in handling a wide range of labor-management disputes, including contract interpretation, disciplinary actions, seniority claims, and matters involving past practice. We focus on conducting hearings that are fair, efficient, and respectful of the parties’ time and resources—without sacrificing thoroughness or due process.
