About the event

Class Description:

Bias influences how we perceive others, make decisions, communicate, and navigate the world around us. While some biases are conscious and intentional, many operate below our awareness, shaping our judgments and actions in ways we may not recognize.

This engaging and interactive training explores how bias develops, the forms it can take, and the impact it can have on workplace relationships, decision-making, and organizational culture. Participants will examine both implicit (unconscious) and explicit (conscious) biases, explore how assumptions influence behavior, and develop practical strategies for creating more inclusive and equitable environments.

Through facilitated discussions, real-world examples, self-reflection activities, and practical application exercises, participants will gain greater awareness of their own thought patterns while learning tools to reduce bias and improve decision-making. The course emphasizes empathy, critical thinking, accountability, and inclusion as essential skills for today's workplace.
